Macadamia & White Chocolate Nougat Cookies

This cookie recipe came from the fact that I didn't know how to finish a large bar of White Chocolate with Honey & Almond Nougat that I had in the fridge.


Because it's too sweet to enjoy on its own (in my opinion). I had to find a way to eat it deliciously.

Well, the best way for me was chopping and putting it into the cookie!!!
So, you can use other kinds of chocolate too ^^.

The base of this recipe is an oatmeal cookie, that has both oatmeals and nuts to make it more delicious and soften the sweetness of the White Chocolate with Honey & Almond Nougat.


I use 125 g of chocolate, but you can use 100 g if you want, it's the best part of home baking because you can bake the way you want.

Right after baking, the cookie will be very sweet. But give it about 12 hours, the sugar, brown sugar, and nougat will be set, the cookie will be more mellow and very delicious.

Macadamia & White Chocolate Nougat Cookies
Makes 11 pieces


80 g ........................ Macadamia nuts
100-125 g ................ White Chocolate with Honey & Almond Nougat 
85 g ......................... Melted unsalted butter
65 g ......................... Brown sugar
25  g ........................ Granulated sugar
................................. Pinch of salt
1 ............................... Egg
100 g ....................... All-purpose flour
1/4 tsp ..................... Baking soda
40 g ......................... Rolled oats




Preheat an oven to 180℃.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper.


Bake the macadamia nuts in the 180℃  preheated oven for 5-7 minutes. Chop and let it cool completely.


Chop the White Chocolate with Honey & Almond Nougat into small pieces, set aside.


Put the melted unsalted butter into a bowl. Pour the brown sugar, sugar, and salt into the bowl. Mix to combine.


Put the egg into the bowl and mix to combine.


Sift the flour and baking soda into the bowl.


Put the chopped macadamia, White Chocolate with Honey & Almond Nougat, and rolled oats into the bowl.


Fold to combine.


Using a 5.5 cm scoop to scoop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet. Press lightly with a fork

You will get about 11 pieces.


Bake in 180℃  Preheated oven for 15 minutes.



Let the cookies cool completely on the baking sheet.
