Mini Chocolate Cake

As I told you that I bake a lot last week.


And now I still have so many things (to eat) in the fridge.
Anyway, I didn't want to eat anything in the fridge, haha. I don't know that have you ever feel this way, because today I really, really wanted to eat chocolate cake!!!
And I couldn't stop this feeling.
So, I baked it ^^.
But I baked only a small batch of chocolate cake, you will get only 3 small loaves from this recipe.
You can use other kinds of pan for this recipe too, such as 12 cm round pan, or 5 cupcake cups, but when using different pan the baking time will be different too.
For the nut in this recipe, you don't have to prebake it (easy, right?), or you can use any kinds of chocolate candy bars for decorating too.
Well, this recipe will be suitable for baking for yourself as it's too small to share, haha.

Mini Chocolate Cake
Makes 3 (9 x 6 x 4.5 cm pan)


75 g ........................ Unsalted butter (Room temperature)
............................... Pinch of Salt
1/4 tsp ................... Vanilla extract
60 g ....................... Granulated sugar
1 ............................ Egg
60 g ....................... Cake flour
1/4 tsp ................... Baking powder
7 g .......................... Cocoa powder
30 ml ..................... Milk
50 g ........................ Chocolate chips
................................ Nut and chocolate for decorating


Brushed 3 of 9 x 6 x 4.5 cm pan with butter.
Preheat an oven to 170℃.

 Sift the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder together.

 Beat the butter with salt, and vanilla until smooth.
Add the sugar and beat until light in color.

Add the egg and beat to combine.

 Pour half of the sifted flour into the bowl, and mix to combine.

 Pour the milk into the bowl, and mix to combine.

 Put the rest of the sifted flour into the bowl, with chocolate chips.

 Fold to combine.

 Divide the batter into the prepared pans.
Decorate with nut and chocolate.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
Let the cake cool in the pans for 10 minutes, remove from the pans, and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
