Chocolate chip & walnut cookies

As I said that my family loves to eat cookies so I have to bake them frequently.


Well, it's good for me too, as I have a chance to try a new recipe, hehe.
I love to eat a soft cookie, but lately, I addicted to icebox cookies ^^. Because it's very easy to make, keep and we can bake it whenever we want.

If you wrap it properly, you can keep it in the freezer for a month! And you will be able to enjoy a freshly baked cookie at the time that you want very easily.
Today, it's a cookie that's packed with a load of delicious things, hehe, as you can see that the weight of the walnut+chocolate chips is heavier than the flour!!!

For a delicious cookie, I suggest you chop the walnut finely and a use serrated knife for cutting the dough into pieces as the chocolate will be very hard after freezing.

I think that if you love chocolate chip cookies, you will love this cookie too.

Chocolate chip & walnut cookies
Makes 22-23  pieces


100 g ...................... Unsalted butter
1/4 tsp ................... Salt
1/2 tsp ................... Vanilla extract
100 g  ..................... Brown sugar
40 g ....................... Icing sugar
40 g ....................... Egg
150 g ...................... All-purpose flour
1/8 tsp ................... Baking powder
100 g ...................... Chocolate chips
100 g ...................... Walnuts


Finely chop the walnut, and set it aside.

 Put the butter, salt, and vanilla into a bowl.
Beat until smooth.

 Put both kinds of sugar into the bowl, and beat to combine.

 Put the egg into the bowl, and beat to combine.

 Sift the flour and baking powder into the bowl.

 Put the chocolate chips and chopped walnut into the bowl.

 Mix to combine.

 Remove the cookie dough from the bowl onto a piece of baking paper.
Cover with the paper, shape it with your hands and roll it into a 25 cm. log.

Freeze for at least 2 hours.
Before baking preheats an oven to  180℃.

Cut the cookie dough into 22-23 pieces (about 1 cm. per piece).

Place the cut cookie dough on a lined baking sheet.
Bake in a 180℃  preheated oven for 20 minutes.

 Let it cool completely on the baking sheet.


Ready to enjoy!!!!
