Butter & Cream cheese Cookies

 I'm very busy lately, well, having something to do is not a bad thing, haha.


But sometimes, my work consumes all of my energy, and that's what I hate. I want to have enough time to do something that I love !!!! Anyway, last night I decided that I will do everything that I want even it means I will sleep less, ^^.
I know that it sounds crazy, but we only have 24 hours per day, so the best thing that I can do is trying to use my time more effectively. As I have so many activities such as playing games,  reading light novels, watching concerts and etc., that I HAVE to do. 
Today I started by cooking and baking something that I really want to eat and yes, this cookie is one of recipe that I want to make, (to eat), and to share with you.
A simple cookie made from butter and cream cheese, I made it many times before. Delicious with lightly tangy taste from cream cheese, it's so addictive. Not only easy to make,
but you can also pipe this cookie into other kinds of shape, use other kinds of dried fruit or omit it completely  (as I always said "Do it the way you want"), or create a different variation from it. It's one of recipe that you can play with it over and over again!

Butter & Cream cheese Cookies 
Makes 32-35 pieces




120 g ......................... Unsalted butter
50 g ........................... Cream cheese
1/2 tsp ....................... Vanilla extract
1/8 tsp ....................... Salt
80 g ........................... Icing sugar
1/2 .............................. Egg (about 25-30 g)
170 g ........................... Cake Flour
1/2 tsp ........................ Baking powder
.................................... Dried cranberry (optional)



Preheat an oven to 170℃ 
Line baking sheets with baking paper.


Put the butter, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and salt into a bowl, beat until smooth.


 Pour the icing sugar into the bowl, and beat until combined.


 Pour the egg into the bowl, and beat until combined.


 Sift the cake flour and baking powder into the bowl.


 Mix to combine.


Put the dough in a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle.
Pipe into 3.5 cm round.


 Place dried cranberry on top (optional).


Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
