After too much of relaxing (didn't do anything, and played a lot of game, hehe), I think I want to be back in the kitchen now. But I think about something easy to make, rather than using my whole day. I remembered that I bought the cookie stamper "Petits Beurre" a long time ago, and still didn't use it, may be it's the right time for making the Petits beurre, (if you want to know about it you can read about it here, in French). Le Petit Beurre (literally "little butter") is a small rectangular cookie that was invented in 1886 by Louis Lefèvre-Utile, founder of the LU company in Nantes. Its signature is small hollow marks in the surface of the cookies.
The texture of this recipe is not like the butter cookie, because of the mixing method. You will pour the melted butter + water+ sugar into the flour and mix until combine, so the result is the cookies is not soft and crumby. Try to cut out the cookie as much as you can, so you don't have to re-roll the dough again and again, ^^.
Serve it with a cup of tea or coffee, it can be dunked in a cup of tea, if you like.
