Banana Choco Bread: Lovely dressed up bread!

There's a time that you might want to bake a simple thing but hope for the lovely result ^^. And you know, you can do it.

I love this bread because it's an interesting way to dress up something simple. You don't have to spend a lot of time, both of the main elements, the cocoa bread and the buttercream are very easy to make.
The condensed milk buttercream is delicious, the sweet taste of it remind me of the childhood, well, banana and condensed milk, it's delicious!
The taste of banana, caramel and chocolate is one of the best combination, and chocolate curls make this bread lovelier ^^. You can make the chocolate curls by using room temperature chocolate, slice it with small round cookie cutter, that's all.
Actually you can make this bread into many shape, and I think smaller size will be great too, because when my brother eat this bread, he can't finish the whole piece -*-. So, about half the size of mine will be good (but don't forget to reduce the baking time too).

Banana Choco Bread
Makes 6  (10x5x5.5cm)

240g ............................. Bread flour
60g ................................ Cake flour
15g ................................. Cocoa powder
5g ................................... Instant yeast
30g ................................ Granulated sugar
3g ................................... Salt
1 ...................................... Egg yolk
185g ................................ Water
20g .................................. Unsalted butter

Condensed milk buttercream
100g ................................ Unsalted butter
.......................................... A pinch of salt
70g ................................... Condensed milk
100g ................................ Whipping cream

........................................... Basic caramel sauce
........................................... Chocolate curls

Mix together, both kinds of flour, sugar, yeast, and cocoa powder, add the salt and stir to combine.
Mix the egg yolk with water and pour into the bowl.
Use large spoon (or pastry scraper) to mix everything together, and knead briefly to bring all the ingredients together.Take the dough out of the bowl and knead if the dough is a bit dry sprinkle with 1-2 tsp of water. Knead briefly.
Add the butter  and knead until  the dough is smooth and elastic. (See how to knead here).
Put in a bowl and let it rise for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 200°C.
Butter 6 small loaf pans (I use 10x5x5.5cm).
When the dough is double is size, take the dough out of the bowl and cut into 6 pieces (95g/1loaf).
Put the dough into the prepared loaf pans.
Let them rise again for 40-60 minutes or until almost double in size.
Bake for 15-17 minutes until the top is dark brown.

Let the breads cool completely.

Make Condensed milk buttercream:
 Mix all the ingredient together.
Cut the banana into small pieces.
Slice the bread in the center
Pipe the buttercream into the hole place the banana pieces and drizzle with caramel sauce.
Pipe the buttercream over the banana,  drizzle with caramel sauce again and decorate with chocolate curls.

  5. You have to keep on beating it, and the temperature of the butter must not be cold ^^.
