Melted butter vanilla pound cake


 I really want to share this recipe with you. because it's easy and very delicious!


I really love this kind of recipe, when someone asks me to teach them how to bake, I want to give a recipe that's easy and delicious, so they will become more confident in baking and happy in the kitchen ^^.

This moist pound cake is so easy that you don't need any skill to make it, hehe. 

The most important point is it has great taste and great texture. Starting with melted butter, you don't need to think about beating or whipping anything. 
If you can wait, pound cake will be better the next day but it's good on the day that it is made too.


Melted butter vanilla pound cake
Makes 18x6.5x6 cm. cake


85 g .................... Unsalted butter
1/2 tsp ................ Vanilla Extract
100 g .................. Granulated sugar
30 g .................... Whipping cream
75 g .................... Egg
75 g .................... Cake flour
3/4 tsp ................ Baking powder
1/8 tsp ................ Salt



Preheat the oven to 180℃.
Pound cake pan 18x6.5x6 cm. lined with baking paper.

Put the butter in a microwavable bowl. Heat in the microwave until melted and let it cool completely before using.


Pour the whipping cream, egg, and vanilla into the bowl and whisk to combine.


Sift the flour and baking powder into the bowl.

Whisk to combine.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan. 

Put the tip of a skewer into the batter and whirl to remove large air bubbles.


Bake in the 180℃ preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool completely.
