Sweet and salty cookies

 Cookies don't have to be sweet only ^^, and when you try this cookie you will agree with me.


This cookie is additive, because with each bite you will get both sweet and salty taste at the same time, and it makes you eating more and more.
You can use pretzels or potato chips for the salty taste of the cookie, and for the chocolate candy bar, just use the one that you like, I recommend the one with caramel, it's delicious, hehe. For the baking time, it depend on the texture of the cookie that you like, if you like soft, just bake it for 12 minutes, baking it more for firmer cookies. And for anyone who want the cookie to be drier, just bake it again (after cooling) in 150C for 10-15 minutes more.

Sweet & Salty Cookies
Makes 12-13 pieces


115 g ....................... Unsalted butter
1/2 tsp ..................... Vanilla extract
60 g ........................ Granulated sugar
70 g ........................ Brown sugar
1 ............................. Egg
140 g ...................... All purpose flour
1/2 tsp .................... Baking Soda
90 g ........................ Chocolate candy bars
30 g ........................ Pretzels (or Potato chips)



Preheat an oven to 180C
Line a baking sheet with baking paper or silpat.


 Cut the chocolate candy bars into small pieces.


 You can use pretzels or potato chips.


 Crush the pretzels or potato chips into small pieces.


 Beat the butter and vanilla until smooth.
Pour both kinds of the sugar into the bowl and beat until combine.


Put the egg into the bowl and beat until combine.


 Sift the flour and baking soda into the bowl, put both chocolate candy bar and pretzels into the bowl.


 Fold to combine.


 Scoop onto the prepared baking sheet, ( I use 5.5 cm scoop).


 Bake for 12-15 minutes (depend on the texture you like).


 Let it cool on the baking sheet until cool.


If you want drier cookies, after cooling, baking again in 150C for 10-15 minutes ^^.
