Fried food is my weak point, haha, and I think many people can't resist it.
It has a sense of comfort and fulfillness that I love. This time, I use one of my favourite part of pork, "pork belly". to make delicious homely dish: Tonkatsu (とんかつ).
When I started cooking, (a long, long time ago, haha). Frying food was so scary, (hot oil is still dangerous), but I learned that when frying, you need to slice the food in to the oil gently not throwing, and you will be safe from splashing oil. If you're not accustom to it, using thermometer can help as you will be able to control the temperature better.
Serve this lovely fried food with a lot of green will make you fell better, believe me.
