Today's recipe is a flatbread.
I really love to bake bread and my family enjoys it more than other things that I make, haha. Because we can eat it as a meal (not only as a snack).
Besides eating, kneading is fun. For me, it's the best way to relieve stress.
1 tsp ..................... Granulated sugar
1 tsp ..................... Instant yeast
1/2 tsp .................. Salt
60 g ...................... Water
60 g ...................... Plain yogurt
60 g ...................... Milk
40 g ...................... Unsalted butter
15 g ...................... Chopped garlic
1/8 tsp .................. Salt
............................. Dried parsley
Mix the flour with the sugar and yeast until combined. Add the salt and mix to combine.
Pour the water, plain yogurt, and milk into the bowl.
Mix to combine.
Knead for 7-8 minutes.
Or until smooth.
Brush a bowl with unsalted butter. Roll into a ball and put the dough into the bowl.
Cover and let it rise for 60 minutes.
Put the unsalted butter, garlic, and salt into a bowl. Cover and heat in the microwave (600W) for 30 seconds.
Mix to combine and set it aside.
When the dough is ready. Remove it from the bowl. Cut into 6 equal pieces.
Roll each piece into a ball. Cover and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Roll each piece into a 15-17 cm. long.
Heat a pan over medium heat. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Flip the Naan and cook until brown on both sides.
Remove from the pan and brush with garlic butter.
Sprinkle dried parsley over the naan before serving.
