Rustic fruit tart: delicious fruit tart without pan!

You don't need a lot of equipment to make something delicious.

I know that I'm not the one who have a right to saying this, haha, but it's true. There are so many recipes that you can make without running to buy pan or mould. This tart is the great answer. With simple ingredients that you can find (or I think you already have in the kitchen), you can create it in 2 hours.
Just mix all the ingredients together by rubbing and pressing them together and you don't need to refrigerate it too. The resting time will make the pastry come together, and it will be easier to be rolled.
You can choose the fruit that you like, this time I use frozen strawberry but you can use fresh one or other kind of the berry too.
If you never made tart before and thinking about giving it a try (without buying a new tart pan ^^), this recipe can be a good start!

 Rustic fruit tart
Make 1 tart (23cm)

Pastry
135 g ....................... All purpose flour
15 g ......................... Granulated sugar
............................... Pinch of salt
60 g ....................... Unsalted butter, cut into small dices
2 tbsp .................... Milk

Filling
200 g ..................... Frozen strawberry (or fresh)
100 g ...................... Apple, peeled and sliced
80-90 g .................. Granulated sugar (depend on the sweetness of the fruit)
2 tbsp ..................... Corn starch

Glaze (optional)
3 tbsp ..................... Icing sugar
1/2 -1 tsp ................ Water

Mix the flour with sugar and salt.
Add the butter and rubbing with your fingertips until combine.

Pour the milk into the bowl, and press into a ball.
Remove from the bowl, press with the palm of your hand until smooth.

Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 1 hour (don't have to refrigerate).

Mix the strawberry, apple, corn starch and sugar together.

Heat in the microwave for 5-7 minutes (medium power) or until boil.
Let it cool completely before using.

Preheat the oven to 200C.

Roll the dough into 28 cm round.

Place the filling in the center.

Fold the edge of the dough over the fruits.

Bake for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown.

Mix the icing sugar and water until smooth.

Drizzle over the tart before serving.
