Beside from fruitcake, baking this dairy free cookie will be another good choice ^^. I use Shortening (non-hydrogenated shortening) instead of butter for this cookie, and there is no egg in this cookie, even the one who's allergic to dairy product and egg can enjoy it.
If you want adding 1/8tsp cinnamon powder into the flour and cocoa mixture will make this cookie more festive.
It won't rise or puff much, so you can use cookie stamper to create lovely pattern or words on it if you want. Put them in cute box and send as a gift for someone, show him or her that you care.
Ps. Don't forget to send me a request if you want to try "King Rice barn oil Shortening (non-hydrogenated shortening)" for healthier baking.
And don't forget to send me a photo and comment after you try this cookie so we can share this moment together.
