Honey Roasted Peanuts

I love this kind of peanut since I was a child.


My aunt always bought it for me, it came in a round box with blue label ^^. But I just bought it again lately and felt that it's not the same. Well, I don't know maybe I'm the one who changed, the same flavor is not my taste anymore.
All I can do is making it by myself, haha, so I can control the taste and get the Honey Roasted Peanuts that I really like.
Honey Roasted Peanuts is very easy to make (I started to wonder why I didn't make it before), no need for special ingredients and you don't even have to preheat an oven!
You can use other kinds of nut for this recipe too, but the baking time for them can be varied. 
It can be kept in an air-tight container for more than 2 weeks, but I don't think you can resist it, haha.


Recipe: Honey Roasted Peanuts

Honey Roasted Peanuts



280 g .................... Peanuts
3 tbsp ................... Water
40 g ...................... Granulated sugar
60 g ...................... Honey
1/4 tsp ................... Salt

Finishing
1 tbsp ..................... Granulated sugar
1/8 tsp .................... Salt







 Line a baking sheet with baking paper, pour the peanuts into the prepared baking sheet.


 Place in the oven and turn on the oven to 180℃, bake for 12-15 minutes.


 Put water, sugar, honey, and salt into a pan.


 Place over medium heat and bring the mixture to boil.


 Pour the baked peanuts into the pan, mix to combine.


Cook for 5-7 minutes.

 Remove from the heat and mix with 1 tbsp of sugar and 1/8 tsp of salt.


 Let it cool completely.
