Cocktail Time: Blue Margarita

When talking about cocktail what do you think about? For me, Margarita is the first name that comes to my mind.
Sweet citrus fragrance cocktail with tangy taste and and saltiness from salt (on the rim of the glass) make everything balance, it's the taste that many people love. The base of the cocktail is Tequila and lime (or other kinds of citrus). This time I use Mitte Blue citrus instead of Blue curaçao. It crates lovely blue color Margarita, and adds a hint of sweetness to this cocktail too. With a hint of sweetness the cocktail is easier to enjoy ^^. With lovely citrus note, this cocktail very refreshing. Serve it on a hot day and you will agree with me.

Use the lime wedge to lightly moisten the rim of a glass. Pour salt into a small saucer, spreading it out in a thin, even layer. Press the glass rim into the salt, cookie-cutter style, twisting it back and forth to coat the rim evenly.

Add Lime juice, Mitte Blue citrus, Cointreau, Tequila and ice to a mixing glass. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime slice.
